Stay at the Bar X Ranch and enjoy horseback riding, hiking, or hunting in the scenic
Badlands near Medora, ND. Experience brandings, roundups, or just a peaceful
evening in your own private campground along the scenic Little Missouri River.
Haul in your own rig, or rent one of 5 cabins on the property. Your hosts, Doug and Julie Tescher, will provide horse-riding trail suggestions on their beautiful, sprawling 2,250-deeded-acre ranch and the famous Maah Dah Hey Trail, which starts at Sully Creek
across the Little Missouri River and intersects the Bar X Ranch campground. Teschers
also lease 6,000 acres to ride on, which includes access to Theodore Roosevelt National
Park, where wild horses and buffalo still roam.
